The Golf Fore Kids Tournament has become a well established fun fundraiser which allows us to support many children’s projects locally. Join the excitement and help a great charity by becoming a sponsor and playing in this year’s tournament.

Come swing into the fun at our Westside Optimist Golf Tournament! You might remember it as the Big Hole Golf Tournament for Kids, but this time we’re keeping things classic-sized and full of laughs. Bring your game, your friends, and your best “fore!” energy.

The day starts off by checking in at the registration table where we get you set up with your cart and the plans for the day.

Shotgun Start

Next, we gather all of our competitors for an amazing photo opportunity.

Once the pictures are taken it is time for a fun-filled shotgun start. All of the golf carts head off in different directions and the players begin to play. The day of golfing fun has begun!

How Does Westside Optimist Use The tournament proceeds?

Our Springfield Westside Optimist Club does not receive federal or state funding. Our organization is run by volunteers. It is comprised of dedicated men whose mission is to provide hope, positive vision and to bring out the best in kids.

Your donations, sponsorship, and participation will benefit local non-profit organizations in our area that are committed to the benefit of kids.

Recently we have supported Big Brothers Big Sister, CASA, Wish I May, Bridges For Youth and many more organizations doing great work for kids in our area. Our Club also owns the Westside Optimist Baseball Complex which has baseball leagues for kids on 3 fields at 3250 W. Grand.

We are able to provide assistance to these organizations because of continued community support and your generous donations.

We enjoyed fantastic weather for our Big Hole Golf Fore Kids Tournament held last June. Everyone enjoyed a fun-filled day including delicious grilled food, drinks, and great golf shots!

We had over 84 golfers and contributions benefited kids right here in Springfield and surrounding communities.

Your support and assistance allow us to continue supporting many local non-profit organizations focused on kids as well as keep our Optimist Baseball fields (on Grand) manicured and open for community enjoyment.

Either sign up as an individual and we’ll match you with a team, or sign up for a complete 4 man scramble.

How To Register

Save check-in time on the day of the event and pay your registration today. We accept all major debit/credit cards including American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

How To Become A Sponsor Today!

Sponsorship Levels

The Mega Masters presenting sponsor and the eight Jumbo sponsors will receive entry into the tournament, a big-hole sign at their featured hole. Other sponsorship opportunities are available as outlined in the enclosed form.
